This Privacy Policy explains how the Swipenor mobile app (“Swipenor”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use it. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. You can play anonymously; the app creates a random device identifier so your progress is saved on your device. If you choose to create an account, we store your email address, a password (hashed), and an optional display name so you can sync your progress and premium status across devices. You may also sign in with Apple or Google, in which case we receive a provider identifier and, if you allow it, your email address.
- Gameplay data. Your scores, streaks, question-bank progress, and leaderboard ranking. Public question banks you create, and — for private banks you join via a link — an optional custom name you provide.
- Purchases. If you buy “Remove Ads,” the transaction is processed by Apple or Google. We do not receive your payment details; we only store that your account is premium.
- Advertising. We show ads through Google AdMob. Every ad request is non-personalized, and we do not read your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA/AAID). AdMob receives standard request data such as a coarse, non-identifying location.
- Diagnostics. We use Sentry to collect crash reports and technical error data to keep the app stable.
How we use information
- To run the game, save progress, and rank players on the leaderboard.
- To create and secure your account and verify your email address.
- To process the “Remove Ads” purchase and restore it across devices.
- To show ads, unless you have removed them. Ads are never personalized.
- To diagnose crashes and improve performance and reliability.
Third-party services
We share limited data with service providers that help us run the app:
- Google AdMob — advertising. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Apple / Google — sign-in and in-app purchases.
- Sentry — crash and error diagnostics.
- Resend — sending account emails (verification, password reset).
Tracking
We do not track you. Swipenor does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS, does not read your advertising identifier, and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Every ad request is sent as non-personalized.
Children
Swipenor offers a “Kids” age group. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is needed to play, and ads shown in a child context are non-personalized. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us at the address below, and we will remove it within a reasonable period.
Your choices
- Play anonymously without providing an email.
- Purchase “Remove Ads” to stop seeing ads.
- Request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
